What our clients say

There’s a reason Culligan Water Technologies is the best water treatment company in Green Mountains with over 22 3.6-Stars Google Reviews.

I previously owned a North Star Water Softener, which was getting old, and on its way out, purchased back in the 1990 era.I started to query around in my hometown area and was given two names to check out. Speaking to the two various business people, and explaining my problems to them, I ended up sending pictures of the system that I had.Within a few days, I received notices from both people with theirvarious quotes and recommendations. Neither people came down to my residence to check things out or to test my water. I believed that both quotes were on the high side.I checked online for other alternatives, and decided to checkout Culligan. Within a few days, I had received feedback and set up a timeframe to talk with a representative. On September 12, 2024, I was contacted by Representative Brandon Sereni, who was super knowledgeable on their product and , in my opinion, went out of his way to thoroughly explain what we needed. My wife and I were impressed with his explanations and his quotes and decided to go with them, and set up an installation time.On October 3, 2024, our system was installed by Derek (sorry that I couldn't remember his last name). Derek was super knowledgeable, as well and thorough with his removing our old system and installing our new one. Both Derek and Brandon were super professional and friendly, answering all our questions, and explaining everything in detail.Posted above are two photos, the before and the after.Within the first few days, we noticed a big difference in the Culligan water, versus what we had in the past. Within a few more weeks, as water was running through our pipes, we noticed even more changes. With a few more days, before Christmas, we've noticed even more and glad that we made the decision to go with Culligan. To Brandon and Derek, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God Bless you and your families in the coming years!Pat and Donna Tatro

We recently added the Culligan system to the home we’ve lived in for 25 years. We had very hard water. Now, with their system it’s like drinking artisan water and the showers are so much more enjoyable. We couldn’t be more pleased with the high level of professionalism of the salesman and the technician. The salesman didn’t try to sell us, he simply showed us the difference. The technician was extremely knowledgeable of the system and answered all of our questions. We are planning to use them in a second home too!Culligan is a game changer!
Technician Casey M is the reason for 5 stars. He was personable, competent and efficient. He was passionate about his job and represented Culligan like a professional.
Our experience with Culligan was great. From the initial set up to test our water to the installation. We had a small leak with our RO system post install and they promptly scheduled a technician to come and fix it. The systems we got were expensive, but the change we've noticed is worth it. No more brown water, no more sentiment build up, and our hair and skin is so much healthier. Very happy with them and their product!**we have not had a repeat service with them to change out filters yet*
Answered all my questions and were not pushy to get me to use their services.
Good service. They really know what they are doing.

#1 Hard Water Makes Your Appliances Less Efficient

Did you know that hard water is hard on your appliances?

It’s true.

Hard water can reduce the efficiency of your appliances by up to 48%, according to a study by the Water Quality Association (WQA). And that decrease in efficiency can lead to a 29% increase in your energy bills–costing you $1,500 or more over a 10-year period.

(And that’s just for your water heater. The same efficiency loss would affect your dishwasher and your washing machine.)

#2 Hard Water Forces You To Waste More Soap & Detergent

When you have hard water, you have to use more soap, detergent, and other cleaning products. Over time, this can become a significant expense.

Think about how much money you spend on dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, bath & kitchen soap, lotions, and other household cleaners. Probably several hundred dollars a year, depending on the size of your family…and if you have hard water.

(That cost could be reduced by 75% or more with soft water.)

#3 Hard Water Reduces the Lifespan of Your Appliances

Hard water also causes a buildup of scale that can shorten the lifespan of your appliances by 30-50%!

In another WQA study, the heating elements inside water heaters using hard water failed after just 19 months. The water heaters using non-hard water lasted much longer—up to 15 years.

How Can You Tell if You Have Hard Water?

If you suspect you have hard water, here are some of the telltale signs to watch out for:
  • Mineral buildup in sinks, bathtumbs, and on your water fixtures
  • Spots on your dishes, glasses, and silverware that don’t come out in the dishwasher
  • Water heaters that fail sooner than they should
  • Soap scum in your bathtub or on your shower curtain/shower door
  • Faded clothing (especially clothes that used to be vibrant & colorful)
  • Dry, itchy skin and limp-looking hair
Or you can always contact Culligan to schedule a free water test. One of our technicians will come to your house and test your water for hardness and other contaminants.
